Professional, polite and punctual service.
From your first e-mail or phone call, we will make everything as clear as possible, be prompt and punctual, and take time to explain any issues and ‘pros and cons’ any remedial work, with minimal jargon where possible, and provide a free comprehensive written quotation.
From there, we arrange, scaffolding and skips, with permits where required. You’ll be informed of our anticipated start date and job duration, where applicable, and with our great British weather to rely on, we tend to give these estimates a little leeway!
We have experience and City & Guilds certificates (obtained from Norwich city college!) in tile and slate pitched roofs, bitumen, rubber, fibreglass, and single-ply flat roofs, uPVC and hardwood timber roofline, and our return custom saves us having to be on any bidding sites.
Our work and work ethics do the advertising for us. For nothing!

How much will my roof replacement cost?
A common question we are asked is the all important, “how much is this going to cost me?”
Your roof is the key protector of your home, and as such, is open to the elements come rain or shine, all year round, and should be considered an investment when repairing or replacing your roof.
Pitched roofs and flat roofs come in many differing styles, sizes, and lay-outs, and as such, all require a visit to be assessed on the various factors listed below.
We provide free comprehensive quotations, advice and surveys. So get in touch to have a bespoke written quotation provided directly to you.
Below we’ve listed some of the most common factors that influence the quotation.
Structural Work
Any structural work required on your roof will usually be the first port of call once the scaffolding is up and materials are on-site.
Structural work can come under regulations and have to be checked over by a council representative, and we always use structural engineers to provide technical data sheets which are materials will be selected from, but this type of work can often extend job duration, due to the awkward nature of access within the building.
Skips & Access
The closer we can get all the materials delivered to where the actually work will take place the better. Skips can require permits if located on a public road, as can scaffolding. We will make you aware of this when we forward you a written quotation.
Roof Complexity
A simple ‘up-and-over’ type roof, with large double-pan concrete tiles will clearly be stripped and put back together a lot quicker the a plain tile roof, with valleys and dormer windows and differing ridge heights.
When swapping old for new tiles or slates, we often employ a ‘Bumpa’, a petrol engine machine that feeds us on the scaffold, this requires around 5/6 metres to be operated safely.
Each quotation we send out will be accompanied by a covering email which will clearly state the anticipated job duration.
Scaffolding
Needless to say, scaffolding is an integral safety feature of the work we do. Scaffolding can greatly influence the cost a replacing your roof, especially with the smaller properties where it is a larger percentage of the overall cost.
We work hand in hand with only a few selected firms we know and trust for their polite attitude when representing us, care on your property, and commitment to keeping your family, and us, safe whilst we replace your roof.
Roof Covering
Clearly replacing a large concrete tile roof is going to be a lot less labour intense than say a Spanish/Welsh slate, and plain tile roof.
All of our quotations will come with an estimated job duration clearly stated, and we are always available to talk your through the process, or the quotation if you need a little help.
*Please note. If you are considering changing your roof covering, you should always check with your local authority beforehand.
Cement Work & Roof Pitch
The pitch (angle) of your roof and slow the process down when getting to the very steep angles, as can the amount of cement work, especially with our great British weather!
All dates we provide realistically are estimations given any weather reports at the time, but we are as open and honest as possible.
